Hainan Begins Latest Road to Recovery

Just in today the latest weekly data for Hainan’s largest airport show an 11% point increase on the previous week. Up to date as of Wednesday 24th August these weekly PAX numbers highlight the pressures facing the island’s travel retail business.     
            
The recent surge in Covid cases that led to a spate of on/off store openings is also of course reflected in the numbers of tourists that were able to get to the island.
